Data Privacy at a Glance
General Information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit my website. Personal data are all data with which you can be personally identified. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in the data protection declaration listed under this text.
Data Collection on My Website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the imprint of this website.
How do I collect your data?
Your data is collected in one part by you communicating it to me. This can be data that you enter in a contact form, for example.
Other data is automatically collected by my IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter my website.
What do I use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to demand the correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact me at any time at the address given in the imprint. Furthermore, you have a right of complaint to the competent supervisory authority.
Analysis Tools and Third-Party Tools
When you visit our website, your surfing behavior can be statistically evaluated. This is mainly done with cookies and so-called analysis programs. The analysis of your surfing behavior is usually anonymous; the surfing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools.
You can object to this analysis. This is done using a plugin that appears on every page until you click Reject or Accept. Afterward, a “Cookie” notice appears at the bottom — with which you can reverse your setting.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
I reserve the right to change this privacy policy if the legal situation or this online offer or the type of data collection changes. However, this only applies with regard to statements on data processing. If the user’s consent is necessary or if parts of the data protection declaration contain a regulation of the contractual relationship with users, the change to the data protection declaration will only be made with the user’s consent.
Please inform yourself about this privacy policy as necessary, especially if you share personal data.
Security Notice
I secure my website and other IT systems by appropriate technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, unauthorized access, unauthorized modification or unauthorized distribution of your data. However, despite all care, complete protection against all dangers is not possible in every case. Because when communicating by email, I cannot guarantee complete data security, I recommend sending confidential information by mail.
General Notes and Mandatory Information
Data Protection
The operator of these pages takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. I treat your personal data confidentially and according to the legal data protection regulations as well as this data protection declaration.
When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data are data with which you can be personally identified. This data protection declaration explains what data I collect and what I use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
I would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Note on the Responsible Body
The responsible body for data processing on this website is:
WineStreet Media
Marc Roth
Auf den Niederwiesen 1
76835 Hainfeld
Email: info@papas-bootcamp.de
The responsible body is the natural or legal person who alone or together with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke an already given consent at any time. An informal notification by email to me is sufficient for this. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Complain to the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of breaches of data protection law, the person concerned has a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority in data protection matters is the State Data Protection Commissioner of the federal state in which my company has its headquarters. A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that I process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible person, this will only be done if it is technically feasible.
Confidentiality of Your Customer Access
If you have been given access to a protected area on our website that is secured with a password, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. I ask you not to share the password with anyone.
SSL or TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
When the SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to me cannot be read by third parties. The data is unchangeable and the sender can be identified.
Information, Blocking, Deletion
Under current law, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and, if necessary, a right to correct, block, or delete this data. For this and other questions on the topic of personal data, you can always contact me at the address given in the imprint.
Objection to Promotional Emails
The use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation for the sending of not expressly requested advertising and information materials is hereby rejected. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal steps in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam e-mails.
Links to Other Websites
My website contains links to third-party websites or other websites of my own. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these privacy policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.
Data Collection on My Website
General Collection of Data
I have disabled data storage in a log file (logfile) with my provider and I cannot retrieve any access data. Whether the provider creates log files beyond that, I cannot assess.
When you access my website or retrieve a file, it may therefore be that data about this process is stored in a log file on the web server — this is beyond my control. Specifically, the following data may possibly be stored:
• IP address (if possible, this is transmitted or stored anonymously)
• Domain name of the website from which you came
• Names of the retrieved files
• Date and time of retrieval
• Name of your Internet Service Provider
• and possibly the operating system and browser version of your terminal
I only store IP addresses, through the comment function in my blog, for a period of a few days. The storage is for data security reasons, to ensure the stability and security of our system. The statistical evaluation of anonymized data sets remains reserved.
Cookies
My website uses cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make my offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies I use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website. If you want to prevent the use of cookies, you can do this through local settings in your internet browser, (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, or Safari).
Cookies are necessary to ensure the functionality of our website operation (as a legal basis, Art. 6 para. 1 lit f GDPR is mentioned, the preservation of the legitimate interests of the operator of this website — we use cookies only in agreement with Art. 5 para. 1 lit a GDPR, i.e. according to the principles “lawfulness, processing in good faith, transparency”).
Cookies that are required for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions you have requested are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Server Log Files
I have enabled the collection of data in server log files with my provider. Whether the provider still collects and automatically saves data beyond that is unknown to me. However, this could include:
• Browser type and browser version
• Used operating system
• Referrer URL
• Hostname of the accessing computer
• Server request time
• IP address
A consolidation of this data with other data sources is not carried out.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Registration on this Website
You can register on this website to use additional functions on the site. I use the data entered only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, I will reject the registration.
For important changes such as the scope of the offer or for technically necessary changes, we use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.
The processing of the data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send an informal message by e-mail to me. The legality of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data collected during registration is stored by me as long as you are registered on my website and is then deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Comment Function on this Website
On individual pages or posts, there is a voluntary comment function for users who want to express their opinion on the respective page or post. The comment is released after positive review and appears publicly on the page where the comment was sent. There is no claim to the release of a comment. The commenter must provide a name, this can be a pseudonym. The commenter also must provide an e-mail address. This serves to inform him about the status of his comment especially if he asked a question in the comment and is waiting for an answer. The e-mail address is not displayed publicly, not passed on to third parties, and not manually evaluated. The IP address of the commenter is only stored in an anonymized form. The commenter may provide his website address, but does not have to.
Storage of the IP Address
Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who write comments. I need this data in order to be able to take action against the author in the case of legal violations such as insults or propaganda. The IP addresses are automatically deleted by a plugin after a few days.
Storage Duration of the Comments
The comments and the associated data (e.g., IP address) are stored and remain on our website until the content commented upon has been completely deleted or the comments must be deleted for legal reasons (e.g., offensive comments).
Prevention of Spam Comments
To prevent spam comments, I only allow comments in German. To determine the language, franc is used. In doing so, Antispam Bee transfers the comment text to the online service via an HTTPS connection. Other data of the commentator or the used WordPress system is not part of the transmission. The setting is optional and not active in the delivery state.
Legal Basis
The storage of comments is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send an informal message by e-mail to me. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.
Analytical Tools and Advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses features of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files stored on your computer that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and its advertising.
IP Anonymization
I have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services related to website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly; however, I would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Objection to Data Collection
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by objecting to the use of Google Analytics in the banner. You can reverse this decision by clicking on “Revoke Cookie Decision”.
You can find more information on handling user data at Google Analytics in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
Order Data Processing
I have concluded a contract for order data processing with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic Characteristics at Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally forbid the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described under “Objection to Data Collection”.
Google Analytics Remarketing
My website uses the features of Google Analytics Remarketing combined with the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
This feature allows the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked to the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you based on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one end device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g., tablet or PC).
If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browser history with your Google Account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be placed on every end device on which you log into your Google Account.
As part of IP anonymization, your IP address is shortened by Google within a member state of the EU or another contracting state of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. On my behalf, Google will use the transmitted information to compile a report on the use of the website. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. If you want to prevent the use of cookies, you can do so by locally making changes to your settings in the Internet browser used on your computer (e.g., Safari, Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox, etc.), i.e., the program for opening and displaying Internet pages. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection and processing of your data by the Google cookie by downloading and installing a browser plugin offered by Google under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects google-authenticated IDs of users that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create audiences for cross-device ad promotion.
You can permanently opt-out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google Account; follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
You can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. This will set an opt-out cookie, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website: disable Google Analytics
For more information about Google and Google Analytics’ terms of use and privacy, see http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and https://www.google.com/intl/us/policies/. We point out that Google Analytics has been extended by the extension “anonymizeIp”. This ensures anonymized collection of IP addresses.
Use of Facebook’s Visitor Access Statistics (Facebook Pixel)
I use the visitor access statistic (remarketing function) “Custom Audiences” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”), also known as Facebook Pixel. Through this function, we can target visitors to the website with advertising by placing personalized, interest-based Facebook advertising for visitors to this website when they visit the social network Facebook. The function is only activated after you have given your permission. If the function is activated, a direct connection to a Facebook server is established when you visit this website. This transmits to the Facebook server which of our Internet pages you have visited. Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. For more information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, your rights in this regard and ways to protect your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you do not want Facebook to directly assign the collected information to your Facebook user account, you can deactivate the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” here. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.
Cookies and Access Number Messages
I use “session cookies” from VG Wort, Munich, to measure access to texts to determine the probability of copying. Session cookies are small units of information that a provider stores in the visitor’s computer’s working memory. A randomly generated unique identification number, a so-called session ID, is stored in a session cookie. A cookie also contains information about its origin and the storage period. Session cookies cannot store other data. These measurements are carried out by INFOnline GmbH using the Scalable Central Measurement Method (SZM). They help to determine the copy probability of individual texts for the compensation of legal claims of authors and publishers. We do not collect personal data via cookies.
Many of my pages are equipped with JavaScript calls, through which I report the accesses
Privacy Statement for the use of the Scalable Central Measurement Method
Web offers
My website and my mobile web offer use the “Scalable Central Measurement Method” (SZM) of INFOnline GmbH (https://www.infonline.de) for the determination of statistical parameters to calculate the likelihood of copying texts. In this process, anonymous measurement values are collected. The access count measurement alternatively uses a session cookie or a signature created from various automatically transmitted information from your browser for the recognition of computer systems. IP addresses are processed only in anonymized form.
The procedure was developed with respect to data protection. The only goal of the process is to determine the likelihood of copying individual texts. At no point are individual users identified. Your identity always remains protected. You do not receive any advertising through the system.
Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, I need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows me to verify that you are the owner of the provided e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. Additional data is only collected on a voluntary basis. I use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The processing of data entered into the newsletter registration form is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). The dispatch of the newsletter and the associated measurement of success are based on the consent of the recipients according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, Art. 7 DSGVO in conjunction with § 7 para. 2 no. 3 UWG or based on legal permission according to § 7 para. 3 UWG.
The logging of the registration process is based on my legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. My interest is in the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves both my business interests and meets users’ expectations and also allows me to prove consents.
The granted consent to store data, e-mail address, and their use for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time, for example, through the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the already completed data processing operations remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provided to me for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by me until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted at a later date after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored for other purposes with me (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected.
As a newsletter provider, I use the US provider ActiveCampaign, 1 N Dearborn, 5th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601, United States. ActiveCampaign has joined the EU-US Privacy Shield, the current status can be viewed here.
Plugins and Tools
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the necessary web fonts into its cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of my online offers, especially the recognition within the framework of my corporate identity. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Google itself writes about this on this page:
“Use of Google Fonts is unauthenticated. No cookies are sent by website visitors to the Google Fonts API. Requests to the Google Fonts API are made to resource-specific domains, such as fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com, so that your requests for fonts are separate from and do not contain any credentials you send to google.com while using other Google services that are authenticated, such as Gmail.”
This means:
“The use of Google Fonts is not monitored. No cookies are sent from website visitors to the Google Fonts API. Requests to the Google Fonts API are made to resource-specific domains, such as fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com. These do not include any confidential information and are transmitted separately from information that you send to Google when using services such as Gmail.”
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used. For more information about Google Web Fonts, visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and Google’s Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Gravatars
I use Gravatars to display avatars in comments. Gravatars are a service of the company Automattic Inc., 132 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Automattic”). After submitting a comment, the e-mail address you entered is transmitted to Automattic to display a potentially linked user image within comments. If a link to a user image exists, Automattic will transmit it to me so I can integrate the user image (the gravatar) in the comments on my website. Automattic may store your IP address by displaying the Gravatars. If you do not want a user image linked to your e-mail address to appear in the comments on our website, you can use an e-mail address for commenting that is not stored at Automattic. More information about the collection and use of data by Automattic can be found in Automattic’s privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Online Marketing and Affiliate Programs
Amazon Pictures/Resources
I embed images and possibly other media resources from Amazon EU S.à r.l. to display product information. This transmits your IP address, the time of access, and the original page you accessed to Amazon.
Amazon Affiliate Program
The site operator participates in the Amazon EU Partner Program. On our pages, advertisements and links to the Amazon.de page are integrated, from which I can earn money through advertising cost reimbursements. For this purpose, Amazon uses cookies to track the origin of orders. This allows Amazon to recognize that you have clicked the partner link on my website.
The storage of “Amazon cookies” is based on Art. 6 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in this, as the amount of its affiliate compensation can only be determined through the cookies.
More information on Amazon’s use of data can be found in Amazon’s privacy policy: https://www.amazon.de/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=footer_privacy?ie=UTF8&nodeId=3312401.
